Nha Trang is bursting with hotels, and you will rarely be short of a place to stay except on a few key government holidays - the weekends around April 30th (the anniversary of the fall of Saigon), September 2nd (the anniversary of the declaration of independence by Ho Chi Minh in Hanoi, 1945) and of course Tet, Vietnamese New Year, which varies annually based on the lunar calendar.
All tastes and budgets are catered for, from the uber-trendy, top class hotels through to budget yet clean and tasteful guesthouses and hostels for backpackers and independent travellers. You can get a room for as little as $5 if you are prepared to spend some time shopping around, but we'd recommend settling for something around $10-20 to be sure you have a fresh, pleasant room with a minibar, TV and A/C.. and you'll be tempted to stay a lot longer!
At the other end of the scale there are some top quality hotels to cater for those with a bit more cash to splash - perhaps for that special occasion, a honeymoon, or indeed if you are in Nha Trang on business! The Sunrise resort has beautiful views and great rooftop bar should you fancy a treat, the Ana Mandara is one of the most established and famous of the luxury accomodations and the Sofitel Vinpearl resort is perhaps one of the most spectacular.
We've found Hostelbookers to provide a good choice for budget travellers who wish to book ahead, and Agoda seem to have a wide range of mid to top range hotels on offer.
